Pathways Center of Grief and Loss
Pathways Center of Grief and Loss created a "Volcano Room" for children who have experienced the loss of parent. This room provides a safe, healthy outlet for the intense emotions associated with grief and provides the bereaved children with a wonderful option and outlet for expressing the pain associated with the loss.
Timing is everything
Olivia's provides children with tools and education to help them learn from and move through their grief. The caregiving professionals and volunteers work with the children at a critical time in their lives so that they do not have to resort to negative behavioral patterns that often arise when they are not given effective coping strategies.

Domestic Violence Services of Lancaster County provides therapeutic mental health counseling to aid children in healing from domestic violence when requested by parents who lack funds to pay for this service for their children. Children benefit from having the opportunity to talk about their experience during individual and group counseling.
Building healthy relationships
Domestic Violence Services of Lancaster County
Domestic Violence Services of Lancaster County developed a Tools for Healthy Relationships program. This program is a six session series of psycho-educational groups directed at helping children develop life skills that will enable them to establish healthy violence free relationships. This program is designed to enhance relationship information and skills while being fun and interactive.
